It is written to be more colorful and less politically correct than most other versions, even other contemporary ones. This modest offering of one of the less well known Minor Prophets, Zephaniah, provides a window into the violence of the transition from Assyrian dominance to the conquests of Nebuchadnezzar and the Chaldean army from Babylon.
